During my two weeks holiday in Sicily i had some time left, so i decided to go spotting at the International Airport of Catania, Catania International Airport also named as Vincenzo Bellini Airport, is situated 4.3 km southwest of Catania, the second largest city on the Italian island of Sicily. I stayed for about 4 hours at the airport, during these hours i was very lucky. Beside the normal civilian traffic from Ryanair, Transavia, Alitalia and some more little airlines, i also saw helicopters you don't see very often outside Italy, such as an AW109N from the Carabinieri, an AB412HP from the Guardia di Finanza (the picture you see below from this helicopter is a very large crop, but i wanted to show these) another nice helicopter was the AW139 from the Guardia Costiera and to finish the AB212ASW from the Marina Militara Italiana.
